Original SSO/SPOSN Harness SMERSH includes the hip pad, belt, 2x Double AK Pouches, shoulder pads and buttpack. All colour matching and original pieces from the same set.
From the email it can be noted that this is prior SSO/SPOSN Email update at the start of 2005, making it a 2004 production SMERSH.
Originally designed in 1999, the SMERSH is a modular and very comfortable harness/webbing, with various designs for magazine pouches to fit AK, SVD, VSS/VAL, PKM and RPK. It has been regularly seen in many units of the Russian Armed Forces from Regular Army, Naval infantry, VDV Airborne Forces and FSB Units.
