Originally designed in 1999, the SMERSH is a modular and very comfortable harness/webbing, with various designs for magazine pouches to fit AK, SVD, VSS/VAL, PKM and RPK. It has been regularly seen in many units of the Russian Armed Forces from Regular Army, Naval infantry, VDV Airborne Forces and FSB Units.
