Originally developed in the 1990s the FORT Defender 2 uses the maximum capabilities of the modular principle of constructing body armour.The ability to change the configuration of the body armour and its level of protection is preserved by installing or removing additional armour panels depending on the degree of threat.
It has removable groin and front and rear neck guards that can have additional soft armour placed inside them to protect from shrapnel.
Seen in many modern video games like Rainbow Six Siege, Call of Duty and Battlefield.
