Introduced from around 2009–2011 with the British Army "Personal Clothing System" and now the standard British Army field smock, it replaced the old DPM/Combat 95 pattern and was designed to work across woodland, grassland, arid and mixed terrain.
Features
MTP (Multi‑Terrain Pattern) camouflage; windproof 50/50 poly‑cotton with IR‑reflective (IRR) treatment.
Full‑length heavy‑duty two‑way zip with Velcro storm flap; covered buttons to reduce snagging.
4 large bellows pockets on the front (2 chest, 2 lower cargo) with buttoned flaps.
2 vertical zip chest map pockets behind the chest pockets, each with internal pen pockets.
2 upper‑arm pockets with Velcro closures and internal attachment loops (ideal for medical/tourniquet kits).
Zippered under‑arm vents for temperature control.
Sizing
Marked as height/chest (e.g. 180/104)
Condition
These smocks are in Good Conditoon – used but with no holes, rips or tears, all zips and fasteners fully functional, and only light signs of wear. The Smock may have previous owners names written in and/or the wiring from the hood removed due to it being difficult to roll up with it in for standard dress. Ideal for cadets, airsoft, hiking, shooting, fieldcraft, or as a tough everyday outdoor jacket.
